The flavor is excellent, texture is firm, and the plants are super-productive over a long season. This is a bush-type zucchini, but give it plenty of room for the plants to keep growing larger. Fruits are striped dark green with light green, and have small ribs. Striato d'Italia produces many flowers that can be picked for squash blossom recipes. It tolerates heat, and also does well in cool weather.
